This article develops a new framework of adaptive actuator failure compensation control for cooperative manipulator systems with parameter uncertainties in addition to actuator failures, and designs and analyzes effective actuator failure compensation schemes for such robotic systems. The new adaptive control design uses an integration of multiple individual failure compensators and direct adaptation to handle various types of uncertainties in such robotic systems. The design can also be used for concurrent actuator failure cases, to expand the capability of adaptive actuator failure compensation. With a complete proof and performance analysis, it is shown that the proposed control scheme guarantees the desired closed-loop stability and asymptotic output tracking, despite actuator failures whose patterns, time instants and values are all unknown. Simulation results of a benchmark cooperative manipulator system are presented to verify the desired control performance of the system with both typical constant and square-wave actuator failure signals. 相似文献

针对齿轮故障特征微弱,在强背景噪声下难以有效提取的问题,提出了一种改进奇异谱分解(ISSD)结合奇异值分解(SVD)的齿轮故障特征提取方法。针对奇异谱分解(SSD)算法中模态参数需凭经验选取的缺陷,基于散布熵优化算法对SSD算法进行了改进,在得到既定的一组奇异谱分量的基础上,根据峭度值最大准则筛选出了最佳奇异谱分量并进行了SVD处理,采用奇异值能量标准谱自适应地确定了信号重构阶数以还原信号和提高降噪效果。最后对信号进行包络解调以提取齿轮故障特征,将所提方法运用到仿真信号和齿轮实测信号中,并同传统包络谱、SSD包络谱以及经验模态分解结合SVD(EMD-SVD)方法进行了对比分析,结果表明,所提方法的降噪和特征提取效果更佳,能够更加有效地实现齿轮故障的判别。 相似文献

This paper presents a simplified automated fault detection scheme for wind turbine induction generators with rotor electrical asymmetries. Fault indicators developed in previous works have made use of the presence of significant spectral peaks in the upper sidebands of the supply frequency harmonics; however, the specific location of these peaks may shift depending on the wind turbine speed. As wind turbines tend to operate under variable speed conditions, it may be difficult to predict where these fault‐related peaks will occur. To accommodate for variable speeds and resulting shifting frequency peak locations, previous works have introduced methods to identify or track the relevant frequencies, which necessitates an additional set of processing algorithms to locate these fault‐related peaks prior to any fault analysis. In this work, a simplified method is proposed to instead bypass the issue of variable speed (and shifting frequency peaks) by introducing a set of bandpass filters that encompass the ranges in which the peaks are expected to occur. These filters are designed to capture the fault‐related spectral information to train a classifier for automatic fault detection, regardless of the specific location of the peaks. Initial experimental results show that this approach is robust against variable speeds and further shows good generalizability in being able to detect faults at speeds and conditions that were not presented during training. After training and tuning the proposed fault detection system, the system was tested on “unseen” data and yielded a high classification accuracy of 97.4%, demonstrating the efficacy of the proposed approach. 相似文献

The enormous energy use of the building sector and the requirements for indoor living quality that aim to improve occupants’ productivity and health, prioritize Smart Buildings as an emerging technology. The Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system is considered one of the most critical and essential parts in buildings since it consumes the largest amount of energy and is responsible for humans comfort. Due to the intermittent operation of HVAC systems, faults are more likely to occur, possibly increasing eventually building’s energy consumption and/or downgrading indoor living quality. The complexity and large scale nature of HVAC systems complicate the diagnosis of faults in a centralized framework. This paper presents a distributed intelligent fault diagnosis algorithm for detecting and isolating multiple sensor faults in large-scale HVAC systems. Modeling the HVAC system as a network of interconnected subsystems allows the design of a set of distributed sensor fault diagnosis agents capable of isolating multiple sensor faults by applying a combinatorial decision logic and diagnostic reasoning. The performance of the proposed method is investigated with respect to robustness, fault detectability and scalability. Simulations are used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in the presence of multiple sensor faults applied to a 83-zone HVAC system and to evaluate the sensitivity of the method with respect to sensor noise variance. 相似文献

Overhead line energization can be performed under normal or faulty conditions. The latter indicates an occurrence of a fault along the line that exists at the moment of energization. This can lead to significant over-voltages that could endanger proper line operation. The issue gets more complex to protective devices when it comes to high-resistance faults, which impair the ability of relays to react promptly and accurately. Consequently, installation of additional detection devices becomes necessary. This paper proposes a novel method that properly detects and classifies line operating conditions at the moment of energization. The method is designed to be useful for utilities and it can be considered as a low-cost, fast, and accurate detection and classification approach, suitable for dealing with both low-resistance and high-resistance faults. Through comprehensive mathematical modeling it was found that both normal and faulty conditions during line energization are accompanied by the zero-sequence voltages of specific characteristics. The differences between zero voltage sequences are reflected in harmonic content, magnitudes of dominant frequencies, and their phase angles in regard to supply voltage. Reliability based criteria are quite popular for optimal sensor network design. We present a modified definition of system reliability for sensor network design for two applications: reliable estimation of variables in a steady state linear flow process, and reliable fault detection and diagnosis for any process. Unlike the weakest-link based definition of system reliability in the literature, the proposed definition considers the entire system and is consistent with the reliability concept used in classical reliability literature. For each application, dual approaches for defining system reliability are proposed, and their analogy with the reliability problem in the classical reliability literature is established. Using examples and stochastic simulations, the advantage of using the proposed system reliability in contrast to the existing definition is illustrated. Part II of this series of articles presents methods for efficient generation of the system reliability function and its use in optimization-based approaches for designing optimal sensor networks. 相似文献

In this article, the problem of asynchronous adaptive dynamic output feedback sliding mode control (SMC) for a class of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy Markovian jump systems (MJSs) with actuator faults is investigated. The asynchronous dynamic output feedback control strategy is employed, as the nonsynchronization phenomenon of jump modes exists between the plant and the controller. A novel asynchronous adaptive SMC approach is proposed to solve the synthesis problem for T-S fuzzy MJSs with actuator faults. Sufficient conditions for stochastic asymptotic stability of T-S fuzzy MJSs are given. Under the designed asynchronous adaptive SMC scheme, the effects of actuator faults and external disturbance can be completely compensated and the reachability of sliding surface is ensured.
